PURPOSE: An apparatus is provided to detect an exact location of a LSM(Linear Synchronous Motor) by using a field magnet part and an armature part without an external current or an optical detection signal. CONSTITUTION: An armature part(110) is arranged in a ground. A field magnet part(120) is arranged in a transport unit. A field magnet part has an uneven portion corresponding to an uneven portion of the armature part. An inductance detection unit(130) is connected to the field magnet part by a coil. The inductance detection unit detects the inductance which is changed according to the air gap difference between the field magnet part and the armature part. A location information detection part(140) detects the location information of a LSM based on the change of the inductance detected by the inductance detection unit.
