摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To faithfully image a distribution of velocity variations of a body fluid even when the velocity variations are not periodical, such as the velocity variations of a CSF (CerebroSpinal Fluid). <P>SOLUTION: A velocity image creating unit 22c creates a velocity image that indicates a distribution of velocity components with respect to each of a plurality of images obtained by repeating two or more times EPI (Echo Planner Imaging) providing the velocity components of the body fluid flowing inside a subject. Also, a velocity variance image creating unit 22d calculates the variance of the velocity components along the time sequence for the same position on the respective velocity images by using the plurality of created velocity images. Then, a superimposed image processing unit 22e superimposes the distribution of the variance of the velocity components in the velocity variance image on an average absolute value image, and an image display control unit 26a displays a superimposed image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
