<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a perfume composition excellent in persistence and aromatic property, as well as safety, aroma property, and duration thereof. <P>SOLUTION: Compounding a rhododendrol derivative represented by formula (I) into a usual perfume composition enhances persistence of the perfume and provides a perfume composition excellent in safety, aroma property and duration.
