<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image data output device which shortens the time until starting preview display based on an output condition for a desired page of a document to be read. <P>SOLUTION: An image data output device configured as an MFP 1 includes a reader 13 for reading images of documents fed one by one by an ADF 13a and an image memory 15 for storing the read image data. Image processing based on a set output condition is performed on the image data stored in the image memory 15 and preview display on a display is performed. The MFP 1 includes a setting section for setting a preview display range prior to starting document reading and when the preview display range is set, image processing based on the output condition is performed only on the range in a document, and partial preview display is executed in which preview display can be performed only on the set range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
