<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can surely continuously process a plurality of printing jobs received from the same transmission source. <P>SOLUTION: The network multi-function machine 1 newly forms a proper job identification number in response to a request of allotment of the job identification number from the PC 2, and informs the PC 2. The PC 2 generates specific printing jobs 50 and 60 with the job identification number set from printing object data 21, and transmits them to the network multi-function machine 1. The network multi-function machine 1 receives printing jobs limiting the number of communication sessions to one when receiving normal printing jobs. On the other hand, when receiving the specific printing jobs 50 and 60, the network multi-function machine 1 receives the specific printing jobs 50 and 60 in parallel by utilizing two communication sessions.
