<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a webbing belt winding device that can change an energy absorbing amount by a relatively simple structure, and can change the total amount of the energy absorbed according to a physique of a person on board and the like. <P>SOLUTION: When a torsion is generated in a first energy absorbing part 26 of a torsion shaft 22 and a spool 18 rotates in a drawing direction with respect to a first lock base 32, interference of a delay wire 222 with a second lock pawl 144 is resolved to permit an operation of a second lock mechanism 130 which is constituted with a so-called WSIR mechanism. When the second lock mechanism 130 is operated and the second lock pawl 144 meshes with ratchet teeth on inner teeth formed in a leg plate 16, a rotation of a second lock base 132 in a drawing direction is inhibited, and a second energy absorbing part 126 of the torsion shaft 22 becomes twistable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
