<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silencer manufacturable through a blow molding process assuring a low manufacturing cost, and thereby suppressing the manufacturing costs. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The silencer 15 has a body 16 in a hollow columnar shape and is manufacturable through a blow molding process, wherein the length L in the longitudinal direction of the body 15 is set so that none of its resonance frequencies is identical to the frequency of the air flow sound passing through the body 15.
