<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple necktie having a connecting member avoiding the risk to immediately unfasten only when strongly pulled forcedly without being improperly unfastened. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The simple necktie includes a connecting member composed of a female die 1 and a male die 2 detachably engaged with a loop part 30 put around the neck. A thin insertion piece 21 resiliently swinging in a front-back direction projects in a cantilevered condition in the male die 2 and an engagement projection 25 projects to the surface of the insertion piece 21. A flat insertion cylinder part 11 into which the insertion piece 21 is inserted in an oscillating posture is disposed in the female die 1. At both of the front/back constructive surfaces of the insertion cylindrical part 11, to-be-engaged parts 15 are formed at a position corresponding to the engagement projection 25 of the insertion piece 21 while the insertion piece 21 of a male die 2 is inserted into the insertion cylinder part 11. The degree of engagement of the engagement projections 25 with the to-be-engaged parts 15 is set up so as to be forcedly released when strongly pulled in a direction where the male die 2 and the female die 1 are mutually separated.
