摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deform an electric connector and decrease the contact resistance in order to increase the contact area between terminals when the contact resistance increases and temperature has risen, by forming the electric connector from a shape-memory alloy. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When insertion and extraction are repeated due to prizing at the time of insertion and maintenance or the like of a male terminal 12, a female terminal 11 is deformed and a contact resistance increases, thereby, temperature increases and there is a risk of exceeding the heat resistance temperature of a lead wire 7 and peripheral equipment. Then, by making the shape of the female terminal 11 memorized, and by selecting a composition of a shape-memory alloy so that the shape recovery temperature may be lower than the heat resistance temperature of the lead wire 7 and the peripheral equipment, the deformed female terminal 12 returns to an original shape and lowers the contact resistance to prevent temperature rise. Further, if the male terminal 12 is also made to memorize so as to be a shape to increase the contact area with the female terminal 11 at the time of becoming the shape recovery temperature, the contact resistance is further decreased and temperature rise can be promptly prevented.
