<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle comprising an inexpensive device constitution capable of automatically performing adjustment of an air amount by a blower motor and making a temperature in a vehicle cabin proper. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner 1 for the vehicle conditions the air inside the vehicle cabin by air-conditioning air (temperature TM) passing through an evaporator or a heater core by driving a blower motor BM and blown into the vehicle cabin through a blowing out port. The air conditioner 1 includes: an air amount setting switch 101 for setting the air conditioner 1 for the vehicle to a plurality of action modes including an auto-mode; and a switching means 100 having FETs 1-4, for varying a voltage applied to the blower motor BM and the number of revolution of the blower motor BM step-by-step by ON/OFF-acting the FETs 1-4 in a previously set step such that a temperature absolute value Ts, i.e., an absolute value of difference of an in-cabin set temperature Ta and an in-cabin detected temperature Tr becomes 0 (zero) at setting of the auto-mode. When it is determined that Ta>Tr and Tr>Tm and when it is determined that Ta<Tr and Tr<Tm, action of the switching means 100 is stopped. Ž<P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT Ž
