<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device having a data acquisition function and preventing a recording failure due to reduction in recording capacity at data acquisition. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The display device includes: a condition determination part which determines whether received email satisfies a predetermined condition; a data deletion part which deletes data attached to email from a recording part if the condition determination part detects that the email does not satisfy the predetermined condition; and a condition registration part which receives a condition for storing attached data. The condition registration part receives a sender email address of email to be stored. When email is received by an email reception part, the condition determination part determines whether the sender email address coincides with a part or whole of a reception-permitted address.
