<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for obtaining a joined body of two members which is stable with the lapse of time. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An SiO<SB>2</SB>thin film is grown on the joining face of a first member so as to be a thickness of 10 nm to 10 μm by a suitable thin film forming means, then, the SiO<SB>2</SB>thin film is immersed into an acid solution or an alkali solution, and, in the acid solution or alkali solution, the surface of the SiO<SB>2</SB>thin film is pasted with a second base material so as to form a pasted body.
