<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a board case which can prevent an illegal act, suppress intrusion of dust, metallic powder or the like, and perform efficient heat dissipation. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A gap is provided between a side plate 22 at the lower side of a base and a side plate 62 at the lower side of a cover, and also a gap is provided between a side plate 23 at the upper side of the base and a side plate 63 at the upper side of the cover. Further, a gap (lower vent port 53) is provided between the bottom plate 21 of the base 20 and the tip end edge 64 of the side plate 52 at the lower side of the cover, and another gap (upper vent port 54) is provided between the bottom plate 21 of the base 20 and the tip end edge 65 of the side plate 63 at the upper side of the cover. An opening formed between the tip end edge 24 of the side plate 22 at the lower side of the base and the side plate 62 at the lower side of the cover is made an air suction port 55, and an opening formed between the tip end edge 25 of the side plate 22 at the upper side of the base and the side plate 63 at the upper side of the cover is made an exhaust port 56. In the gap formed between the base 20 and the cover 60, a section from the suction port 55 to the lower vent port 53 is made an air suction passage 57 and a section from the upper vent port 54 to the exhaust port 56 is made an exhaust passage 58.
