PURPOSE: A display apparatus and a user interface display method thereof according to the present invention are provided to display a menu using a widget. CONSTITUTION: A UI(User Interface) generating unit(180) generates an icon. A display unit(140) displays the icon. A controller(190) checks a usage frequency of certain menu. The controller categorizes the menu according to the usage frequency. The controller controls the UI generating unit to generate an icon corresponding to the categorized menu.
