<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger capable of improving COP of, for example, a heat pump unit, supercooling a high-pressure refrigerant, and improving the efficiency of, for example, the heat pump unit. <P>SOLUTION: The defrost heat exchanger 14 includes a low-pressure refrigerant pipe 20 in which a low-pressure refrigerant flows, a high-pressure refrigerant pipe 21 which contacts with the low-pressure refrigerant pipe 20 and in which a high-pressure refrigerant flows, and a water pipe 56 which contacts with the low-pressure refrigerant pipe 20 and in which the water flows. The flow channel cross-sectional area of the low-pressure refrigerant pipe 20 is larger than that of the water flow channel 56, and also larger than that of the high-pressure refrigerant flow channel 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
