<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for BiTe-alloy thermoelectric-material nanoparticles that allows a BiTe alloy to be generated as nanoparticles by preventing aggregation of Bi and Te during reduction and deposition. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method for a BiTe nano-composite thermoelectric material is configured as follows. The manufacturing method is applied to manufacture a nano-composite thermoelectric material by using BiTe-alloy nanoparticles. The manufacturing method includes a step in which a strong-alkaline reducing agent having reduction potential of≥0.5 V is added to a strong acidic dispersion solution, including a Bi salt and a Te salt and in which ceramic particles are dispersed, so as to deposit Bi and Te on each surface of the ceramic particles, the ceramic particles are made as BiTe-alloy nanoparticles by heat treatment, and then, the BiTe-alloy nanoparticles are sintered. In the step, the addition of the reducing agent is executed by dropping the reducing agent at a sufficiently slow speed so as to prevent aggregation of Bi and Te in the dispersion solution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
