PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramide dispersion in which ceramide-containing particles having a very small particle size are stably dispersed and which shows excellent stability with time and ease of filtration. SOLUTION: The ceramide dispersion includes (1) ceramide-containing particles which contain ceramides, are dispersed in an aqueous phase as an oil phase component, and have a volume-average particle size of 1-100 nm, (2) at least one fatty acid component selected from the group consisting of (a) a 12-20C fatty acid and (b) a fatty acid salt, and (3) a polyhydric alcohol in an amount of 5-20 times the mass of ceramides, wherein a surfactant other than the fatty acid component is 0 or 0.1 times or less the total mass of the ceramides, and pH is 6-8.
