<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal powder compacting coil component capable of preventing a short-circuit through the external surface of a core. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The metal powder compacting coil component 1 comprises: a metal powder compacting core aggregation 3 of combined metal powder compacting cores 9 each comprising the metal and a resin; a winding 5 supported to its wind core; and a pair of electrode members 7 provided on the external surface of the metal powder compacting core aggregation. The external surface of the metal powder compacting core aggregation has a pair of end surfaces 111a, 111b facing each other with a winding axis intersected, and four side surfaces 115a, 115b, 115c, 115d connecting the marginal side to which these end surfaces correspond. An inclined surface part 135 inclined to the winding axis is provided to each side surface having a part sandwiched by a pair of electrode members out of these side surfaces. The inclined surface part is inclined in a direction projecting outside as for end surfaces in each of metal powder compacting units.
