<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable absorbent article easily manufacturable and hardly leaking excrements other than a liquid excrement. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The disposable absorbent article includes an absorbent article body 2 having a front surface sheet 6, a rear surface sheet 7 and an absorber 8; and a front side part 3, a crotch part 4 and a rear side part 5 are formed along the longitudinal direction in the absorbent article body 2. The absorbent article body 2 includes a first flap 11 located in either side in the lateral direction of the crotch part 4, and a second flap 12 located in either side in the lateral direction and capable of being erected. The second flap part 12 is formed by joining a flap sheet to the front surface sheet 6 by an inner joint part 17 located on the inner side in the lateral direction and an outer joint part 18 located on the outer side in the lateral direction from the inner joint part 17. The outer joint part 18 is approximately parallel to the inner joint part 17, and extended longer than the inner joint part 17 toward the center in the longitudinal direction. In addition, a pocket part is formed in the crotch part 4 of the absorbent article body 2 by the first flap 11, the second flap 12 and the outer side edge in the lateral direction of the absorber 8.
