<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive control device of an air conditioner compressor, controlling operation of an air conditioner such that a temperature inside a vehicle to be cooled substantially equals to set temperature while providing good maneuverability without degrading power performance of the vehicle. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The drive control device of a vehicular air conditioner compressor for driving the air conditioner compressor by an engine for running the vehicle is provided with: an ECU for the engine which controls operation of the engine; an ECU for the air conditioner which controls operation of the air conditioner; and a plurality of compressors for the air conditioner driven by the engine. The ECU for the air conditioner obtains information on a driving condition of the engine from the ECU for the engine and outputs an idle-up signal to the ECU for the engine to control the driving of the plurality of compressors. The ECU for the engine also calculates a drive load by the driving of the plurality of compressors and controls to stop the arbitrary number of the plurality of the compressors in order to prevent a decrease in engine rotation.
