<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eyeglass rim 10 used for a full-rim type eyeglasses, the rim 10 having lens holding force strong to external force applied to a lens 30 to be attached thereto. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The rim includes a rim groove 20 in which the lens is fitted and held. The rim groove 20 has two opposite inclining surfaces 21 and 22. In addition, the angle α of elevation of the one inclining surface 21 is 32° to 40° and the angle β of elevation of the other inclining surface 22 is 20° to 28°.
