The device for the application and storage of strip-type dressing materials relates to the field of medical products, more particularly to auxiliary devices used when dressing wounds with strip-type dressing materials (hereinafter - SDMs), particularly bandages and adhesive tape, and for the storage of such materials. The proposed device makes it possible to mechanise the process of applying SDMs, reduce the time taken to apply a dressing, improve dressing quality, make it more convenient to use SDMs and ensure the reliable storage and economical use thereof. The device for the application and storage of SDMs has a hollow body (11, 12) with a slot (2), and may be provided with a spool for the SDM, a transparent viewing window in the body for checking the amount of unused SDM remaining, a resistance regulator for releasing the SDM, an element or mechanism for cutting off the SDM once a dressing (10) has been applied, and a protective cover (13). In the ready-for-use state of the device, the SDM (3) is located inside the body, and the outer end of the SDM is drawn out through the slot in the body and covered by the protective cover. |
