<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transfer system capable of achieving high-speed data transfer. <P>SOLUTION: In the data transfer system transmitting a data packet configured of a header area, a payload area and a trailer area from a data transmission source 200 to a data transfer destination via route selection equipment 100, the data transmission source 200 includes a next data header providing unit 202 for providing the header information of the next data packet to the trailer area of the data packet concerned.
