<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio signal measuring instrument for measuring characteristics of many radio transmission paths like a MIMO communication system in a short period of time, and a channel sounder. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The radio signal measuring instrument is provided with at least a plurality of receiving antennas, a switch part, and a signal processing part. The switch part selects any of the receiving antennas for a period of one cycle or more of a measurement signal. The signal processing part performs signal processing of an acquired measurement signal when the measurement signal starts from the head of a cycle, and generates a measurement signal that starts from the head of a cycle by arranging the head of the next cycle at the front to perform signal processing of the generated measurement signal when the acquired measurement signal does not start from the head of the cycle.
