<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus for setting electronic mail which should be received, or whose reception should be rejected by a user in the language of characters used within electronic mail. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In an information processor for deciding whether received electronic mail is a junk mail, an electronic mail reception means receives the electronic mail; an electronic mail setting means sets the language of characters used in electronic mail which should be received or whose reception should be rejected by a user; and a language determination means determines the language of characters used in the electronic mail received by the reception mail reception means, and a junk mail determination means compares language determined by the language determination means with the language set by the electronic mail setting means, and determines whether the electronic mail received by the electronic mail reception means is a junk mail.
