The present invention relates to a method for providing a targeted advertisement agent service over the Internet, and to a web server used for same. The method of the present invention includes the steps of (a) enabling a web server to store personal information items inputted by a plurality of viewers exposed to advertising content, (b) enabling the web server to determine the viewers who have inputted personal information items matched to the targeted customer conditions set by an advertiser, and (c) enabling the web server to transmit the advertising content provided by the advertiser to the terminals of the viewers determined in the previous step. According to the present invention, advertisers may freely set the conditions of customers to be exposed to the advertising content provided by the advertisers, and pay advertising fees only in the case where viewers actually show interest in the advertising content provided by the advertisers, thereby improving the efficiency of advertising in terms of advertising fees. |
