<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a large, thin and light-weight light guide plate capable of enhancing a whole efficiency and realizing a medium-high luminance distribution (illuminance distribution). <P>SOLUTION: A light reflection face (first light reflection faces 30b, 30c) of the light guide plate 30 having a light emitting face 30a and light incident faces 30d, 30e is formed by parts A1, A2 of an ellipse near the light incident faces 30d, 30e, and these parts A1, A2 are combined by a part A3 of an arc to structure the reflection face. A taper angle θ of the light reflection face is larger than the slanted face since it is ellipse near the light incident faces 30d, 30e, and the same θ can be larger than the ellipse near a central part since it is an arc. With this, the reflected light can be brought inward and the whole efficiency can be enhanced and moreover a medium-high luminance distribution can be realized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
