<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the usability of a printing apparatus which has a storage region referable from an external device and can print by copying of a file to the storage region. <P>SOLUTION: Folders 308-310 made corresponding to printing setting are provided in the storage region referable from the external device. Also a document file 307 is provided which explains the method for operating the folders 308-310.
