METHOD FOR FORMING MOLECULAR FUNCTION NETWORK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism and a method for understanding various biological responses and phenomena in the relationship among functions of biomolecules and the molecules.

SOLUTION: In this method, information about pairs of biomolecules for generating the information indicating bond of the set number of continuous molecules is retrieved by using a database including the information about pairs of biomolecules beginning from the biomolecule specified by a user from among the biomolecules included in a first molecular network constituted by the information indicating the bond among two biomolecules or more. A second molecular network including the information indicating the bond of continuous molecules beginning from the biomolecule specified by the user and the first molecular network is generated based on the information about pairs of biomolecules obtained by the retrieval of the information about pairs of biomolecules and is displayed. The information about the biological event related to the biomolecules or the like included in the second molecular network is retrieved by using the biological event and the information about the biological event relating the biomolecules or the like being primers for the biological event and is displayed.
