<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively coordinate the confirmation of whether the recipient is at home and delivery by notifying the recipient that a package is scheduled to be delivered by transmitting an e-mail to an e-mail address associated with a delivery destination. <P>SOLUTION: A delivery work support system detects that a deliverer enters an area specified by the position of the delivery destination on the basis of first position information indicating the current position of the deliverer and second position information indicating the position of the delivery destination, and notifies the recipient that the package is scheduled to be delivered by transmitting the e-mail to the e-mail address associated with the delivery destination on the basis of the detection of that the deliverer enters the area.
