<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microorganism and microorganism composition having organic waste-decomposing action which is different from those microorganism used in the prior art, and to provide a method of decomposing the organic waste comprising decomposing the organic waste in extremely short time using the microorganism, generating less malodor, and to provide a method of manufacturing compost. <P>SOLUTION: The microorganism composition consisting of Paenibacillus sp. THU0001 (FERM P-21614), Bacillus sp. THU3710 (FERM P-21616), Bacillus ginsengihumi THU4501 (FERM P-21617), Brevibacterium sp., and Bacillus sp. THU0021 (FERM P-21615) is mixed with the organic waste and is kept warm at temperatures of 50-75°C, thereby decomposing the organic waste. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
