<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein discharge pressure of a compressor needs to be figured out during operation in an air conditioner used in a space with high temperature and high humidity, because the discharge pressure sometimes reaches its upper limit and exceeds a compressor use range before discharge temperature of the compressor reaches the upper limit value. <P>SOLUTION: Relation of discharge pressure of the compressor 27 to a current value of electric power supplied to the compressor 27, refrigerant discharge temperature of the compressor 27, and opening of an expansion valve 28 is obtained in advance, and the discharge pressure of the compressor 27 is estimated based on the obtained relational expression. The opening of the expansion valve 28 is adjusted based on the estimated discharge pressure to optimize an operation status of a refrigeration cycle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
