<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stranded wire rupture detection tool capable of easily setting a wire rope between a first groove and a second groove, by easily performing work for detecting abnormality of a stranded wire. <P>SOLUTION: This stranded wire rupture detection tool includes a first detection member 21 forming the first groove 26 for making the wire rope 10 enter an edge part 24, and a second detection member 22 forming the second groove 32 for making the wire rope 10 enter an edge part 30. The first and second detection members 21 and 22 can be displaced between a first position for sandwiching the wire rope 10 and a second position for releasing sandwiching of the wire rope 10. The first and second grooves 26 and 32 regulate a through-hole for slidably penetrating the wire rope 10 when the first and second detection members 21 and 22 transfer to the first position. At least any one of the first groove and the second groove 26 and 32 is larger than a diameter of the wire rope 10 in a depth dimension in the radial direction of the wire rope 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
