<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel cathode active material for a lithium-ion secondary battery with an inner impedance at quick charging restrained from drastically increasing even in a long-time use, with a small degree of battery capacity degradation at quick charging, and with little degradation of a capacity maintenance rate at use, as well as a lithium-ion secondary battery using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The cathode active material 11 for the lithium-ion secondary battery has two kinds of compositions of lithium compounds by way of a first lithium compound with a part of Fe or Mn of oxide expressed in a chemical formula of LiFeBO<SB>3</SB>or LiMnBO<SB>3</SB>substituted by another element and a second lithium compound with a part of Ni of oxide expressed in a chemical formula of LiNiO<SB>2</SB>substituted by another element mixed in a ratio of a specific range, and further, the lithium-ion secondary battery uses the same. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
