PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal detection method and its system for detecting a metal foreign substance without a degradation in the detection sensitivity even if a rubber has the large blended quantity of carbon black. SOLUTION: If the blended quantity of the carbon black in the to-be-inspected rubber A is less than a predetermined reference, a change signal is detected in a first phase angle range corresponding to iron and a second phase angle range corresponding to stainless. If the blended quantity of the carbon black in the to-be-inspected rubber A is the predetermined reference or more, the change signal is detected in a third phase angle range in which an integration value of a detected wave is lower than iron and stainless. If the rubber has the small blended quantity of the carbon black, the metal foreign substance can be detected without the degradation in the detection sensitivity. Even if the rubber has the large blended quantity of the carbon black, the metal foreign substance can be detected without an effect of the change signal of the rubber with the highly-blended carbon black.
