<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiving fixture to be used for tentatively fixing a cross member of an opening reinforcement steel to a predetermined position of a longitudinal member of the opening reinforcement steel, and a simple attaching method for the cross member of the opening reinforcement steel using the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The receiving fixture is a steel having a U-shaped cross-section including a bent section formed to a bottom face and bent outward, wherein a cut is formed between one side face of the steel of the U-shaped cross-section and the bent section, a threaded hole is formed in the nearly center part of one side face of the steel, and a fastening bolt is screwed in the threaded hole. The above receiving fixture is used, and the receiving fixture is fixed to the longitudinal member of the opening reinforcement steel by the fastening bolt. After the cross member of the opening reinforcement steel is placed and tentatively welded to the receiving fixture, the fastening bolt is loosened, and the receiving fixture is removed.
