摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-friction latch mechanism capable of operating smoothly even if a clearance dimension is small. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This anti-friction latch mechanism has a latch head 1 having an inclined surface and a latch piece 2 being inserted into a cut-out section formed in a central part in the vertical direction of the latch head 1, having a substantially fan-shaped horizontal cross section, and being turnably engaged with a slit forming a vertical circular columnar part formed in a main part of the fan-shaped cross section into a lock box. A long hole 9 extended in the radial direction of the fan shape is formed in an outer side part of the latch piece 2, and a drive pin 5 provided on a latch head side is slidably engaged with the long hole. On the other hand, a recessed part is formed in an inner end part of an outer side of the latch piece, and a support pin 12 provided on the latch head side is engaged with the recessed part. The latch piece is nipped and held between the support pin 12 and the circular columnar part at an initial stage of latch mechanism operation, and the long hole 9 is set to have a circular arc shape centered on the support pin.
