<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in/out management system using a non-contact IC medium which can reduce the installation number of shared antennas constituted by a coil which can perform communications with the non-contact IC medium. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the in/out management system using the non-contact IC medium, the shared antenna is attached to a door so that it can perform communications with the non-contact IC medium from both the side of entrance into a room and the side of leaving the room. The touch of the non-contact IC medium is detected, and an electric lock is unlocked. Then the in/out histories are recorded. It is preferable that the in/out management system be provided with a detection means which detects whether the non-contact IC medium has been touched from the side of entrance into the room or from the side of leaving the room.
