Disclosed are a method and apparatus for digital contents protection using file I/O information are disclosed. According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, file I/O information is monitored, it is determined whether the file I/O information monitored corresponds to the criteria set in advance, and if the file I/O information does correspond to the preset criteria, playback of the digital contents is blocked. The present invention has the advantage of enabling more effective protection of digital contents. |
