The piezoelectric actuator (2) comprises a base with a coating system (21A), which has two electrode combs (23A,25A) that are partially engaged corresponding to an interdigital electrode arrangement. The former electrode comb has a collector electrode (24A), and the latter electrode comb has another collector electrode (26A). The coating system is curve shaped for partial forming of a base body, particularly completely around a longitudinal axis (29) of the base body. An independent claim is included for a fuel injection valve, particularly an injector for fuel injection system.
