PURPOSE: An object management method using multi touch and a device thereof are provided to manage objects efficiently and intuitively depending on multi finger based multi touch input. CONSTITUTION: A first multi touch input of a user is detected(103). An object of a location in which the first multi touch input is detected is picked up(105). When a device picks up a specific object in response to the first multi touch input, the object is removed on a standby screen(107). The device detects a second multi touch input(109). The object which is picked up by the first multi touch input in a location in which the second multi touch input is detected is released(111).
