<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain both an easy close fitting operation to an inner ring and non-dropping of a rolling element without strict dimensional management of a small collar. <P>SOLUTION: In a retainer 1 for conical roller bearing, a slit 6 is formed in a minor diameter-side annular part 2 to extend from its inner diameter surface side to its outer diameter surface side. When the retainer is fitted to an inner ring 10 with a conical roller 9 being housed, the slit width of the slit 6 is extended to extend the inside diameter of the annular part 2, whereby the fitting can be smoothly performed by the diameter extension. Further, a circumferential groove 8 is formed in the annular part 2, a ring member 7 is fitted to the circumferential groove 8 after completion of the fitting, and the inner diameter of the annular part 2 is contracted by the fastening force of the ring member 7, whereby the conical roller 9 can be prevented from dropping out of the ring part 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
