<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent display which can improve a cavity effect and restrain the elevation of an external light reflection factor. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent display includes: a substrate; and a plurality of organic electroluminescent element OLEDs which each contain a pixel electrode PE, a reflecting film RE, a counter electrode CE and an organic layer and are disposed on the substrate. The counter electrode CE includes a first conductive film CE1 which is located on the organic layer and formed from Ag or MgAg alloy whose principal component is Ag; a second conductive film CE2 which is located opposite to the organic layer with respect to the first conductive film and is formed from MgAg alloy whose principal component is Mg.
