PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a carrying load with high sensitivity even if the load is small, without being affected by disturbance etc. SOLUTION: A carrying-load measurement device 10 measures a sectional load which is loaded during a measurement time section from a stop of a carrying vehicle up to its travel start, based on load signals output by load sensors 7 according to loads applied to the axles of the carrying vehicle. This measuring device includes: a change-pattern-information memory means D1 for storing change pattern information for distinguishing whether to be a loading change pattern of the load signals in accordance with loading onto the carrying vehicle; a loading-change-pattern detection means P1 for detecting the loading change pattern of the load signals having changed according to the loading onto the carrying vehicle, based on the results of comparisons between load signals output by the load sensors 7 in time series during the measurement section and the change pattern information; and a sectional-load measurement means P2 for measuring the sectional load based on the load signals of the loading change pattern detected by the detection means P1.
