PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reagent reaction vessel for chromatography that is safe and can be used easily when performing a large number of tests quickly. SOLUTION: The reagent reaction vessel includes: a reception section having an opening for inserting a specimen; a sample storage section for storing a sample at the bottom; and an intermediate section positioned between the reception section and the sample storage section. The reagent reaction vessel includes a projecting rib provided inside the bottom, for preventing the rotation of the specimen. A section vertical to the longitudinal direction of the inner surface is nearly elliptical and the rib is provided inside a part in parallel with the long diameter. The reagent reaction vessel includes indication for indicating a determination section of the specimen at a position corresponding to the determination section of the specimen when inserting the specimen to the reagent reaction vessel.
