<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To weld a first plate material and a second plate material in such a state that they are accurately positioned without using any tool for positioning. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The welded structure 11 is constituted by welding a horizontal steel plate 12 and a vertical steel plate 13. The horizontal steel plate 12 is provided with a slot 16. The vertical steel plate 13 is provided with a projection 15 that is fitted to the slot 16. Then, in the slot 16, there are installed a second reference face 18 and a clamp part 20 that is on the opposite side from the second reference face 18. Further, the clamp part 20 is provided with a slope on the side part on the second reference face 18 end. With the projection 15 fitted to the slot 16, the clamp part 20 is bent and deformed to the opposite side from the second reference face 18 end the projection 15 is pressed to the second reference face 18.
