The present invention refers to a valve for providing cold water, which is disposed on the door of a refrigerator, wherein the novelty basically addresses in the fact that said valve is mechanically operated and it is connected, in one end, to a tube (T) attached to the water piping located outside the refrigerator, and the other end has a water outlet opening (3), and wherein said valve has a piston (4) with at least one seal (8, 19) acting on at least one seat (9, 20) and an helical spring (12) disposed around a portion (5, 7) of said piston (4), the cited piston (4) being horizontally shifted. |
