A laminated steel sheet used as a raw material has a tensile strength TS after forming at an equivalent strain &egr;eq of 1.6 is 800 MPa or less and satisfies 0.25≦̸tb/to where tb is a sheet thickness at a fracture surface after fracture and to is a sheet thickness before the fracture. In forming the laminated steel sheets, forming is conducted so as to satisfy the relationships below: 1.5≦̸h/(R−r), 2.8≦̸R/r1, and 1.1≦̸r2/r1 where h: a height from a can bottom to an opening edge portion; r: an outer diameter of a can body; R: a radius of a circular blank before forming having a weight equivalent to a weight of a final formed can body; r1: an outer radius of an opening edge portion; and r2: an outer radius of a bead portion.
