<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incubator which prevents physical condition of a newborn from getting out of order even though a hand insertion window thereof can easily be opened by operation with, for example, an elbow instead of a hand. <P>SOLUTION: A latch 41 in a latch mechanism 35 comprises a spiral face 46 that extends to at least part of the periphery of a rotation shaft 44 that extends along the side of a newborn chamber. A releasing member 43 in the latch mechanism 35 presses the spiral face 46 of the latch 41 by movement along the side of the newborn chamber and rotates the latch 41 from a holding position to a releasing position for a hand insertion door. In addition, even if the latch 41 in the latch mechanism 35 rotates about the rotation shaft 44 between the holding and releasing positions for the hand insertion door, the releasing member 43 does not rotate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
