PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package container for a battery and a battery package with damage on itself restrained against shock from outside during transportation or the like, and for surely protecting batteries contained inside. SOLUTION: As for a blister pack 10, a tray is of a thin plate shape equipped with a battery housing part formed in a cup shape and a flange-like edge part 12b provided at an outer edge of the battery housing part. Meanwhile, a cover is formed while covering the battery housing part and the edge part 12b in the tray. A gap 10a is provided between the cover and the tray, on a line connecting a corner part 11d in the cover and the battery housing part in the tray in the shortest distance.
